He Called Out EVERYONE. (Draisaitl Post-Game)

Leon Draisaitl didn’t hold back after the latest loss. In a rare moment of candid frustration, he called out the defense, the goaltending, the coaching staff, and even the top players. Is this the wake-up call the Oilers need, or is the locker room fracturing?

  1. I had a coach tell me in high school “show me your third line and I’ll let you know how your season’s gonna go“

  2. Never have liked Knobloch. I know it’s not just on him but I think he is a weak coach.

  3. The team sucks. There’s no other way to put it. They can beat bottom dwellers, then they show who they really are against the top teams. Then they stoop even lower and lose winnable games against weaker or rebuilding teams. Goaltending is weak. Defence is weak. PK is weak. 5×5 is weak. Coaching is weak. 3rd line is weak. 4th line is weaker. The only strengths are McDavid, Draisaitl and Bouchard. I can’t see how they will turn all those weak areas around in the last 30 games. There is no trade help coming in because they don’t have cap space. They made a lateral move in goal and lost Kulak in the process. This team is suffering from poor GM decisions. Everything from the Frederick signing to the other trades/signings. They could have had Jarry for nothing when he was on waivers, but didn’t have good cap management, therefore no cap room to pluck him off waivers. Frederick’s deal is handcuffing them from making any significant trade deadline deals. The GM needs to be much better. I can’t see this team making it to the cup finals this year.
