   So… things have gotten a bit awkward in Philly. Let's talk about it! Let me know YOUR thoughts on this Michkov situation! Do YOU think he deserves more of an opportunity? Or is this whole thing being overblown?

   NOTE: Thankfully the game right after I recorded this saw Michkov get a slight increase in his time on ice, REALLY hoping this continues! ALSO: I knew about his injury coming into camp, but somehow forgot to mention it here. But I do know about it don't worry!

   the actual reason for his diminished ice time has been shift length. he's had the same amount of shifts this while time. before they game vs the caps the coaches had a conversation with him and encouraged him to stay on the ice longer and what a surprise his ice time went up dramatically as did his performance. it's frustrating as a flyers fan seeing people overexaggerate all this especially when it comes from within our fanbase

    Rick tocchet is a dumbass who has never been good at coaching or anything. He is only remembered fondly by boomers because he scored a ton in the easiest era of hockey. Should of never been the coach but former flyer so gotta pick him

    If Michkov has an attitude problem that they are trying to fix, no amount of results on ice offsets that. IMO they have to stay firm, all year, all next year…if needed. Get onboard if you want to play.

    Michkov has all the talent in the world. He doesn't have the work ethic, the maturity and the mindset to be an NHL impact player. Mark my words he's gona be traded 4 times in the next 8 years and rush back to Russia.

    Flyers management talking about how they disagree with what Tocchet has said yet they hired Torts and Tocchet for a young team what do they expect lol? You hired 2 of the toughest coaches in the league in terms yet the Flyers are retooling/rebuilding idk what they are doing but it's like the roster is that of a team coming out of a rebuild yet you hire 2 coaches that favour vets and blame the kids when things go south. Makes no sense screams of dysfunction from the top down with no clear message it's weird and something Sens fans were used to in the Melnyk era not in the same way but it's still confusing for people looking at the organization

    Philly has a blatant anti-Russian bias. Always has. They view Russians as lazy and ungrateful. Can you think of ANY notable Russians that played there other than Bob or MM on this team? Nope. Philly doesn't JUST need a roster overhaul, the need a Coaching and management one. They need to do what the Isles and Tampa did and hire outside the organization. The Bobby Clarke/Paul Holmgren is OVER. Time to act like it.

    If he's on the trade block I'd LOVE to see Kyle Davidson/Blackhawks make a move – he certainly fits what the Hawks need and he'd look fantastic next to Bedard. Not to mention the Hawks have plenty of assets and cap space to get a deal done.
