  1. As a lifelong Habs fan from SW Ontario. It's very easy being a Habs fan here. Even at our worst it's still better than being a Leafs fan lol

  2. I’m a firm believer that the habs should stay pat and not trade away assets unless it’s a deal difficult to give up . Plus often times a trade this point in the season destroys team chemistry

  3. I wish i had kept up my french in high-school 🙁 when you add a section of french in an English pod, can you give us uniligual folks an idea of what was said?

  4. Struble was also playing in a game in which the Habs had the game well in hand. That might explain his uptick in time on ice.

  5. It only matters, when drafting and there is a stain on your character, if drafted by Montreal. Then it's an issue and the player will need to be traded to "get rid of the problem". Notice NOBODY complained that St. Louis traded for him.

  6. Regarding the cancellations, at least you took accountability. I wasn't affected by it but if I was I'd accept your apology.

Maybe send some free merch to some of the people? Haha I know you'd never do that to somebody on purpose. Glad Marco is back and hope his family emergency ended up being a false alarm or something not so bad.

  7. Its one of my favourite parts of being a Montreal Canadiens fan, is how much support across Canada and even some USA cities, that there is so much fan support for them as they play in other arenas… I remember a tweet Geoff Molson made last March when the Canadiens were in Edmonton. There was tons of Hab fans there…

  8. 11:57 Oh I wish I could watch I could watch the game on RDS in NY. I can see 5 a 7, but the minute the game comes on it is not available in my area. The French announcers are so much better than most of the anglophones, and I learned a lot of French from watching hockey when I lived in Montreal!

17:38 I live in NY and go see Laval when they play Utica or Syracuse (maybe Rochester at some point). A lot of Habs fans show up to those games too! And just compare the number of likes and comments on the Habs-Tube-o-Sphere to those of other teams!

  9. Monte played well. He had a rocky start to the game but picked it up. That said, he is not a #1 goaltender. Neither is Dobes. Maybe they can cobble together a good tandem situation, but ….

  10. 42 years old someone calls my Mom a whore I'm throwing down no question lol his draft stock goes up in my books. Character test passed .

  11. Marco, your description of Laine Hutson's goal was bang on and very well expressed. And having the audio clip paired with it was cool too. En francais.

  12. Was so good to see Monty have a game like that. I hope he can string a few more together, going to need both goalies going for the home stretch.

  13. So likely the dude might have done it to make money? Just saw an article relating to Tate McRae on BBC News….mentions she has in the past noted her Canadian roots and likes ice hockey. To suddenly be endorsing Team USA can be seen on social media as being a literal traitor.

  14. When I hear that the leafs have the most fans😂😂😂😂😂 our fans are filling other arenas and fans are out cheering all those wannabes . Buffalo, Vancouver , Ottawa , Winnipeg , Calgary …… Montreal is the most famous and most glorious franchise in all sports . Our fans are following the team throughout North America.

Nothing negative to say about last night , except the usage of the 3rd and 4th line at the end , players constantly being selfish and icing the puck ,mtrying to score goal, pretty fucking bold , we’ve seen teams losing 3 goals lead in a flash. With an empty netter at 6 mins , at 6 vs 5 I would have thrown the first line in , including Caufield , reward him for his outstanding work . I Garantee that the first line wouldn’t have missed all these empty netter

    Monty best game this year
