I’m a big Eagles and 76ers fan. Just getting into the Flyers. It seems the Flyers keep going into rebuild after rebuild. Do all the other teams keep going into numerous rebuilds to get good? What are they doing that brings them success??

I was a teenager when the Flyers won those Cups during the mid-70's and I had scrapbooks with tons of articles inside of them….just a HUGE fan. Nowadays I wouldn't recognize more than two of them as I've grown tired of seeing a sub-par product year after year….just lost interest. Hard to believe, Harry.

I am usually on board with Brodes, but I disagree with him on this Tocchet and Michkov situation. I have no problem with what Tocchet said in that audio clip. It wasn't mean spirited. He has a right to state the facts about Michkov. I get the fact that Michkov is 20 years old, but does that mean he needs to be babied and get a free pass for not being prepared for the season? If he is so out of shape, which no one seems to be denying, then leaving him out there on the ice for long periods of time (more minutes) makes him a liability, and he hurts the team. I mean, the guy is already a turnover machine! Tortorella obviously had similar issues with Michkov last year. So, does this mean that if they fire Tocchet and the next coach has the same issues with Michkov, then it will be that coaches' fault as well? Can we wake up here?
The Siriani comparison is not good. Siriani is weak and gutless in my opinion for not having the courage to speak the truth about certain players when the truth needed to be spoken. That is not a virtue; it's cowardly!
Time will tell with Michkov, but I don't get the sense that the team gravitates to him from the body language that I see on the ice.
Maybe we can have somebody ask Jones, Briere, or Tocchet about what killed the team more than anything so far at this point in the season: SAMUEL ERSSON!!!!!!!!! We lost more crucial games because of him alone than any other reason, and I hear crickets for the most part about that. He should have been cut from the team a month ago!
I may be the opposition but i think the flyers fan have a small portion to blame. I dont know if 18K of fans go to watch a hockey game and have no idea whats going on with this franchise or if they just want to be entertained and watch "Gritty" which comcast would love, but you stop going to games. Everything about this franchise is dysfunctional and kindergarten type stuff. I think Keith Jones is a puppet because hes president and makes more than he did when he played. Dude was a radio analyst on 94.1 and than is president lol its just a joke. I could write a book on the asanine things and thoughts they have done the last 10 years.
