Buffalo Sabres blow late lead to the Lightning, BUT do get three of four points on road trip
The Buffalo Sabres had a lead against the Tampa Bay Lightning with 25 seconds to go. The Lightning tied the game and won it in overtime. Peyton Krebs made mistakes on both the tying goal and the winning goal, ESPECIALLY THE WINNING GOAL. However, there is reason to feel really good about the way the Florida road trip went, with three points out of a possible four. Including getting one point on the road, on the second of a back-to-back, with a backup goalie, against the best team in the Eastern Conference. The point puts the Sabres back into the top three in the Atlantic Division, but is that automatically a good thing? Sneaky Joe looks at the differences between playing on the Atlantic side of the bracket in the playoff and the Metro side of the bracket. Sabres need to be aware where the opponents are on a 3 on 3 match up. Jake Guentzel was all alone behind them. kind of like the sabres D Puck watching in their own end
Sabres suck at 3v3. Who cares. It’s not a thing in the playoffs. There are things about this team that worry me but the 3v3 struggles are not a concern at all
Tampons are currently 2nd best team in nhl. 3 of 4 points is solid. Bigger question is, what does the GM do before the deadline. What are the main needs for this team? Or does Jarmo stay put.

How many more times is Power going to stand there in front of the net and do nothing when we get scored on, he doesn't take anyone out, he doesn't lift a stick he does nothing but put his head down and cry, he's worthless. He got that contract because Adams panicked when Jake Sanderson got his big deal from Ottawa, get rid of Power and that bad contract. We should have won that game last night regardless of the back to back, I still say we need another defenseman and another top 6 forward. Why is Krebs out there in overtime ?
