A lot of teams seem to be second guessing trading for Panarin. The extension or Panarin aren't the issue. The amount his camp wants is causing some roadblocks. If they can clear these roadblocks, then Panarin could still be dealt before the freeze at 3pm EST today. Remember, he could still be traded after the freeze deadline passes, so long as the league is aware their finalizing the last detail or two regarding a trade for him. So we'll really know by around 3:30 pm if Panarin is still a Ranger.
Drury is a Jack ass. Hopefully the Rangers get nothing ! as a ranger fan around 45 years i’ve moved on
Panarin has been a great Ranger and I wish him well.
But from a team aspect, he is already gone.
All that remains is his destination and how badly we get fleeced.

In my opinion Panarin is not going anywhere until free agency. If he agrees to a trade it goes with the stipulation that he signs a $50 million contract with the team that acquires him. That's a very poor deal for a 34 year old that will be 35 this year. He is moving into a period where he will be past his prime and decline Of older players often occurs fast.
Yeah and for the next 4.5 minutes of that 5 minute segment with Friedman he geeked out with the other idiots on NHL network.
