Nice job Dan. I do disagree with you on Novak. There is not much there. I don’t even know when he is on the ice. He is average in small spirts at best. Otherwise anyone can do the same thing he does.
Also, my guess is the pens are top 3 worst teams giving up goals in third period. Definitely the worst among current play off teams. Guessing. That is the only thing of major concern.
This game clearly displayed what happens when the goalie has an average performance…the D just isn’t consistent or good enough. Example is not only the 3rd Islanders goal but also Shea’s bonehead play giving up the puck in front of the net leading to a goal. Just too uneven.

Still not quite expecting them to make the playoffs. Sad to say. Just don't trust them with all these teams so close.

Appalling number of turnovers but still had a chance to win. Not very many pens had a strong game.
