This NHL/Bettman's fault. Because they changed regulations to allow opposing players in the crease in order to validate an ill gotten Stanley Cup win back in 2000. And this is the result where goalies are like sitting ducks who can be rammed into their own nets. This occurs much less frequently in International Hockey because the opposing players are not allowed in the crease.
I can still understand the teams immediate reaction to defend their goalie. I only saw this from Utah’s perspective but it’s interesting to see from the other. I hope he makes a swift recovery.

Looks like this guy skating and barely touched them. I think it was something else that caused the injury.
