OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Minnesota Wild. The Habs lose this game in Overtime by a score of 4-3!! However, the big storyline after the game was the suspicious officiating.. Lets break this one down!

MSL limiting Xhekaj to 6 minutes while overworking the other Dmen was piss poor game management. St Louis needs to get over his Napoleon complex and start giving Xhekaj regular shifts.
FFS…reffing has to change against the Habs, it's not just this game. It's getting to be every other effing game now.
LFG! On to the next one
I thought Hughes looked like shit last night, not offensively, but defensively, he SUCKED! Winnipeg tomorrow night, then like 22 days with no NHL, im not sure if im ready for this, i know there is olympic hockey, and i love it, but it's not the same. I hope we finish off the break with a W.
Even the North Stars had our number.
I'm still waiting for DEMIDOV to completely break out once and for all. This kid is way too talented to be going 3 – 4 games with just a goal and an assist. He's gonna be MTL's first 100-point player in 38 YEARS!!!! If SUZUKI doesn't reach it this year.
No offence to KAPANEN, I really LOVE the guy. But, I'm not sure if he is really good enough to play between SLAF and DEMIDOV, though. They have WAY too much potential, and I don't know if he's good enough to truly take full advantage. He's doing very well this year on just their play alone. He had 2 assists in 18 games last year. Demidov is single-handedly making him look great this year. I'd love to see what a really gifted center could accomplish with those two. Maybe HAGE if he can make the jump soon enough.
Maybe I'm wrong.
Dobes now 9-0-2 in his last 11…. but ya, focus on that first shot goal and his sub .900 SV%
In the last two games Montreal has has 12 of 14 penalties call;ed on them///
and …at one point they had 6 penalties in a row called them in one game and >> then the next game got the first one = 7 in a row . …and last nightys game was especially bad as the interference on Minnies last tying goal was ignored … Montreal team refused to leave the ice in protest to the sgytead NO CALL /// DISGUSTING
TO BE AN nhl REF ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS >>> HATE MONTREAL SEE BELOW
Unrelated to the game but to the commentator who said he loved Halle Berry in Monsters Ball, I know what kind of man you are
There was a few calls I thought the Bettman referees missed. Everything to try to make sure Canadians teams get more penalties against USA nhl teams. Bettman Florida team s are going to win the cup. Those two teams are is favorite
in the old days they made prototypes and models of sticks out of BALSA WOOD….. someone gotta tell the mail room clerk at Warrior Hockey to stop F-in sending them Balsa Wood sticks to Demidov. My guess is that clerk has a B tatooed on his butt
Couple weeks ago when the team was struggling Arber played his best hockey when he would rush the puck and feel confident. I forget what game it was when he played bad at home and sat him to finish a period. Since then they have punished his minutes and he hasn’t played the same. I get as a depth guy u just shut it down but he showcased his potential and that’s what was on display when he was in Hamilton. I hope they give him a longer leash or he won’t be here for much longer eventually
Can objectively stay reffing is worse, watching other games too not just Habs.
I was so mad about this fucking game as a Habs fan. Fuckin penalty in OT?! WTF
It was sick to see Gally clutch. Had some hope at one point.
nobody knows how to whine like a habs fan hahaha as if you werent diving the entire game! maybe stop being the floppiest team in the league and the refs might give you some calls!
You build your reputation as divers, now you sit in it! Hahahaha
As of today, the Habs are the second best in scoring in the NHL, but the sixth worst in goals for.
The official NHL recap was one of the worst homer play calls I've ever heard. Exciting when the Wild had the puck – discussing PB&J recipes when the Habs had the puck. Oh well, a point is a point.
Last night the Wild picked more than the annual nose picking contest in Flim Flam Manitoba and not one of them was called.
The other absolute non call was when Hughes had his hand completely wrapped around Hutson's stick next to the Wild crease and the ref skates over to keep the net on its moorings. He was 2 feet away and still did not call it.
Tird and tree? Anyone have a translation?
We've been getting hosed on soft calls all year. Actually, the past few years. Btw, Gary Betman sucks.
2:00 thats tarasenko not kaprisov
at :27 seconds I know that sound from Pokemon Stadium 🤣
Matheson had a terrible game :/
I love when you play the clip of Marty experiencing all emotions in existence
ole billy guerin still has the old gods on his side
I have been saying it since last year Matheson gets way too much ice time. Why are Matheson and Carrier on PK it makes no sense. I don't want to get started about Carrier… in all honesty I think the Goalie coach switch was a mistake. It is their Defense coaching that is a shitshow.. Habs are winning now but no way this is a winning combo in the playoffs.
On the positive note, Minny still needed ref's help to squeeze a win.
They will get ousted in 1st round anyway.
That ritz cracker was slashed in half. Zebras missed 3 clear penaltys against the wild but buried the whistle in their assholes
7/8 is very good considering what they played against.
Kaprizov's hand knocked Danault's stick into his own.
Utterly ridiculous call considering Demidov's stick got slashed to pieces without a call.
I've recently stopped wasting time blaming the officials for things regulated by the league. Sure , I might still 'rant' about it , but the league has their reasons for playing 'favourites' with certain teams , and there is nothing the rest of us can do about it. It is what it is. Hey, the Habs got a point out of this one and that ain't too shabby , especially when the ice was slanted against them. Even Dach is starting to look like he belongs as a Top Six forward again. Go HABs.
The wild r an excellent team
F the reffs, they screw the Habs every game.
at th OT, the Canadiens kept movng out of the offensive zone and nevertry to shoot.. if you don't shoot, you can't score
I'm so fed up of hearing "The officiating was terrible but we won't talk about it.". It needs to be spoken about. It needs to be put on the forefront. It needs to be addressed. This is unacceptable that a professional sports league manages their games this way. This is pathetic. There was a CLEAR favourite last night in who had it easier… and if you consider yourself even slightly a professional hockey league then you should not settle for that amount of bullshit. I'm STILL not over that dumb penalty against Hutson for being 4 feet away from a guy that tripped on the blue line… and they CALLED THAT! Then virtually the same shit happens with Suzuki but WITH CONTACT and all's good… Like what the fuck are we doing here? And this is ignoring the slashings, the holdings and the 50 picks there was in that game alone.. all going uncalled. People say it's the same for every team… Is it though?? I remember 1 game Montreal had in the beginning of this season. It was against Chicago. For some reason the refs dished out penalties left and right to Chicago. Not without cause… but I'm saying like 10 penalties total to our 4… and you know what's funny? Schlenker was a ref that game. Since then? He's been fucking us over HARD. It's almost as if he was scolding by someone since.
Bravo on not crying about the refs and pointing out the actual reason why they lost this game.
