Stop overthinking these things. Scheifele and Bedard should take Point and Cirelli's spots.
It should be Bedard or Zach Hyman, don’t overthink this, Bedard is my personal choice I think he would thrive in the tournament with these high skill guys but the safe choice is Zach Hyman he is on a tear right now he’s a big body plays that physical style and can score and rack up points and he’s already Mcdavids linemate so it’s simple to put him there again and to know he’d thrive

Cooper needs another lighting or else he doesn't know how to coach olympians. Maybe Nick Paul or Yanni Gourde should play for Team Canada. These know it alls will not put Bedard or Scheifele on the team.
I'm sorry but Point should be replaced. He won't be up to speed to play best on best next week.

If Team Canada wants a dirty player that deliberately runs over goaltenders in the crease, then they'll pick Sam Bennett.
Now if they want to pick some real players, then Bedard, Hyman, and/or Scheifele would the best choices.

Bedard PLEASE! He single handedly won Canada their last world juniors gold. No reason he shouldn’t replace point or cirelli. He’s better than both of them. Team Canada needs to give their heads a shake and wake up. We want a gold. Bring our BEST
