Sabres are legit. 10 game win streak, took an L, went on a 3 game win streak, took an L, strung more wins together, rinsed and repeated for the last 2 months. The old Sabres would've been demoralized taking a goal in the opening minute of the game and going down 2-0 before the period was half over… but these guys took it personal and went on a mission to tie it up before the period was over. Look the heck out anyone who faces these guys in round 1… they're not just ending the drought and squeaking in as 8th seed, they're challenging to go in 4th or better and will probably see round 2.

Panthers really need to step it up. Playoffs are looking less and less likely.
It's gotta be demoralizing to have twice as many sog and lose by 2. These sabres are fast and efficient! Most importantly, they do most scoring straight up without the power play. That's a team built for post season play.
Panthers had plenty of good chances. Lyon was a wall.
