One good year? This guy has been buffalo's most consistent forward over the past 5 years…
Assuming Panarin signs an extension in February with his new team, who else is even close to Tuch this summer? His value is directly tied to the fact that there's no other free agent forward worth over $8m this summer

I’ve never understood these discussions as someone who is a diehard hometown fan. If you love the team and want to win a cup here, why do so many guys just want to pinch a few extra million dollars out of the deals, why can’t you be happy with $40-45 million over 5 years? Like I’m struggling out here to afford groceries and you’re about to leave the team over this?

He is a lightly worse player than Kempe, a few less points and a few less goals. Kempe is at 10,6 so Tuch should be at 10. What ever they do they should not keep him as an own rental, trade him, he isnt worth 11+
Tuch is not a top player , 25 goals with tuffnes and size is not worth more than 14
He says it’s one good year. That’s HILARIOUS!! Tuch has played in approx 100 less games than Kempe, but is only around 10-15 points behind him! Tuch is averaging around .72 P/GP, while Kempe is trailing him with .65 P/GP!
While all of their other stats are fairly close, Tuch’s +/- is TWICE as good as Kempe! So according to the stats, Tuch is as least slightly BETTER than Kempe!
It’s one thing to be wrong Burke, but this is bordering on being flat out, out of touch!!
Give him a big bonus if he hits a certain mark in his contract
Tuch is basically at Kempe numbers for the last four years …. 8M a year max

They need to handle it like a playoff team now, even if that means he walks for nothing at the end of the year.
Buffalo can't signal that they are still an "asset management" team.

Keep him and he either walks or re-signs. There is no trade option, if he walks, then Tuch would be the deadline rental in this sense
