We’re going over Darren Dreger’s trade idea between the Calgary Flames and Detroit Red Wings, which would see both Nazem Kadri and MacKenzie Weegar land in Detroit.

Yzerman would never trade for kadri. Nope.
I would love to see it, but I doubt Yzerman would pull that trigger.
He wants an impact player. I expect him to pick up Jason Robertson or somewhere down the road Nikita kucherov for Connor McDavid.
Kadri is not in the wings time line. I would rather go after Domi at 30
Yzerman will do nothing and pull the plug on the team like he always has done.
Meh.
Just need Weegar please
Kadri is still owed $28 million until age 38 with a buyout clause of $2,041,660 AAV that would go to 2033.
NOPE
Calgary needs to figure out that mess.
A top 3 center that fits our window. Kadri does not. 😊 I think a trade for Panarin with an extension is more likely.
We didn't get any lucky breaks so we don't have a single asset to spare if it's not at least a 5 year player.
Umm…the Yzertrade for John Gibson has turned out to be pretty epic.
But does that make this team a cup contender? I don’t think so
He hasn't been a buyer because he inherited a dumpster fire.
Young centre and two firsts and Calgary will eat $2 million
Kadri is 36. I’d rather figure out what Thomas costs, his age fits the core.
Sell the farm for Weegar but I’m good on Kadri
Why would the Wings trade for a 35 and 32 yr old… both are outside the cores age group.
Yzerman will trade for someone who fits within this teams timeline not a rental nor someone past their prime
With all of the other (better) options on the table, why would Yzerman ever entertain this
KADRI IS NOT WORTH WHAT HE IS GETTING PAID! WINGS AREN'T MAKING THIS TRADE
MbN is untouchable, hes going to be a menace on the NHL
I hope Detroit can get Logan Thomas. His toughness reminds me of some of the guys that were on those 97&98 championship teams. His toughness could be a huge lift for this team.
