The Oilers need to stop looking outside for what is inside?? No more pretend bottom six guys that can’t make a play…….use your farm team and develop your players!
The Edm Oilers are, at their core A POSSESSION team, with a great attack game off the rush. They win by possession. They loose by a lack of it. We NEED the bottom 6 to just NOT LOOSE POSSESSION on every shift. Which means, forechecking like demons, cycling and grinding, and finding slot shots. Our team hasn’t done enough of that early in the year. They’ve begun to find that game! I just hope they begin to perfect it.
