I remember watching Tolopilo's first game last year and he seemed NHL ready back then. He seems pretty solid, glad the rest of the season will be him and Lankinen.

Leafs are horrible, needing a shootout to beat the league-worst CanSuck…….but…….
they are in the "hardest" division…..and the "harder" conference.
On WINNING %, and using baseball's "games back" of the wildcard, they are 7 back in the east…..but would only be TWO games back in the west!
There are only two teams behind them in the east but there are SIX WORSE than them in the west!
So if they were to catch up to those teams in the west, they would still miss the east wildcard with a record better than 3 or 4 teams making the playoffs in the west!
I absolutely hate this top 3 in each division plus two wild cards (where BOTH WILDCARDS could have a better record than the third (and even second) place team in their conferences OTHER DIVISION!
Buffalo and Boston in the wild card with better records than the east's Metroplitan division THIRD place New York Islanders AND better than the west's Pacific division SECOND place Edmonton Oilers.
The three west teams currently fighting for the second wild card are 0.547, 0.546 and 0.547….behind the #1 wildcard at 0.557. The 5th is 0.519.
The east 3rd wildcard is 0.565, the 4th, 5th and 6th are 0.546, 0.546 and 0.545 and the 7th and 8th (currently Toronto) are 0.537 and 0.536.
The NINTH is 0.527…….which is better than the FIFTH in the west!
The up until the 80s system of 1-16 overall, with 1 vs 16, 2 vs 15, 3 vs 14…..was much more fair!
