Belleville Senators’ Mads Søgaard’s mask falls off after a shot by Laval Rocket’s Alex Belzile 1/14

In the 2nd period, Søgaard made the first save on Belzile and the rebound shot dislodged his mask, so the referee blew the play dead. In the old days, the play would have continued. In the very old days, goalies didn’t wear masks, so this situation would have never happened back then.
