Would that do it for Wright?
If it did, you could lock him up for 7.5m x 8yrs and you've got a really good and young, second line center who has the possibility of becoming an ok 1C.
You could then recoup those two 2nd round draft picks for Whitecloud.
Wright would fit the Flames rebuild timeline really well.
And he'd get plenty of opportunity to fill out his game in Calgary with no one playing in front of him, especially if Kadri goes this year.
After assuming all those players go for a first which is a huge reach, why does Macelli go for a fifth? lol OEL could haul a first round pick, maybe Mcmann if the team really needs depth but Robertson and Laughton? We’d be lucky to get a fifth for Joshua but Macelli has been one of our best passers, playmakers on the top 2 lines
