To me, Will Cuylle from the Rangers would be a nice fit to help the rebuild. He's young, fairly skilled, and has some grittiness to his game.
I think it is worth giving Lafreniere a chance if the asking price is a 2nd. At this point, I think he is a reclamation project with Shane Wright fairly similar. Lafreniere does bring more than what Karlsson, Raty, Sasson, etc have to offer. You take someone like him if the price is low.
