This kid is a major talent, for sure.
However, it won't be much longer before the Rangers have plenty of players who will make Schaefer's on-ice life very difficult….even miserable.
Enjoy it now. Because Schaefer won't be laughing for much longer.
He’s very good, no doubt. But torment? Hardly. NYR are going to be trash for at least 3 years. Beating up a rebuilding team is not tormenting them. Let’s see how he does against them when the games matter.
