Losing Appleton, Kupari(injury) & Ehlers those players have pretty good speed, so 3 lines had fast skaters & were replaced with Towes, Pearson & NyquistâŠhow do you figure the team will be better by getting older & slower? Thatâs on Cheveldayoff.

Since coach has complaints on him from previous players under him, and he took a winning team and tanked it. Coach should be first to go. Then chevy should go for bad trades and not getting a decent back up.
Chev has been there too long and it's time to move on. He should have been removed after the Kyle Beach controversy in my opinion. Reminds me of Holland in Detroit, eventually it's time to move on. Being a Thrashers fan Waddell was the only GM they had and left because he didn't want to move to Winnipeg.
At this point, trade some guys that arenât the core players and get draft capital. Pick within the top 5, get a good player to play next season, pickup some solid free agents and go on a cup run

Manitoban here. When the Jets signed Toews I thought it was a brilliant move. Lock for HOF mentors young blood coming up to (try) to replace Ehlers and Apples. What good is he as a player if he isnât coaching twenty year olds on the ice? Itâs like fossil on top of fossil out there! No wonder McGroarty types donât want to play in Winnipeg because they wonât be playing. Chevy has made some brilliant trades but heâs all backwards when it comes to draft and develop. Bottom line? Chevy has to go. If he leaves now, heâll leave with dignity. If he keeps kicking the same dead horses for a few more months, Jets fans will be like,â Donât let the door hit your ass on the way out!â
