I'm an Avalanche fan but the Leafs are my east coast team (mostly because of Dangle). I watch nearly every video.
The season was done for the Leafs 3 losses ago.
I hate the leafs so much. And it’s so enlightening how much the ownership, management and partners HATE THE FANS. the team hates you too. It’s incredible. Never change Toronto. Never change.
This season has been weird. As a Kraken/Preds fan, it’s weird that my teams are either kissing or flirting with the playoffs despite both of them being mid in a weak western conference. If the Leafs were in the west, they would be above almost half of the conference. It’s weird.
The Leafs are just one player away from winning it all. Sadly that player is Mario Lemieux in his prime.

Even if the Bruins don't end up with the Leafs 1st round pick and/or Minten fizzles, the Carlo trade was addition by subtraction. Too many concussions have reduced his play to being very timid. His size is a complete misnomer. I'm not going to rag on the guy as I've never had a concussion in my life much less multiple ones, but from a hockey perspective his effective career may be nearing an early end.

Steve I've been a blues fan my whole life. I promise you I'm telling the truth when I say that I liked the Berube hire at the start but Toronto was never going to be the right market for him. Playing blue collar Berube hockey with a roster and market not built for it is like trying to jam a sqaure peg in a round hole. Youre better off cutting your losses and moving on from Craig. Treliving has always had this weird fascination with playing like blue collar cities like Carolina and St. Louis. Where has that gotten his teams in the past????

This is what Kevyn Adams was last year, and definitely one of the reasons why jarmo was brought in at the end of the season. Complete inaction while sitting in a burning building. 13 game losing streak with ZERO transactions.
