Pretty embarrassing effort from Larkin in the shootout. You just knew he was going to miss too. He ain’t the guy for the big moment. McLellan putting Kane back on PP2 in the second period was maybe the single worst act against Kane that he has made. Just shocking. He’s probably gonna go to hell for what he’s doing.
This team plays such ugly hockey, man. I really feel like our record is just a result of grit, good performances by individuals, and luck. I would not be surprised if the Avs absolutely destroy us, they'll be hungry for a win.
people need to realize the wings likely won't make a trade because chris illitch is a cheap ass. He is offering skubal not even a top 30 salary for pitchers this year. Skubal is asking to be the 7th highest paid despite being the best pitcher the last 2 years. Chris has to pay his wife a shit ton of money because of their divorce.

Deserved loss and didn't even deserve the flukey point they got. Second game they've looked lazy and lethargic. 5 on 5 this team is still terrible. And IF they make the Play-Offs they won't get so many PowerPlays either. Larkin has been garbage for the last months or so. But his fanboys will say he's an elite player. Guy honestly cannot carry the puck or stick handle. He's a turnover machine. Tonight was too much about pandering to Kane. While I'm pleased he got the record, I'm also sick of it being all about Patrick Kane since he joined. Gibson was off tonight but first time in while he's been off his game. Yzerman needs to get some scoring help and a couple of D men.
