Stop talking about the second line center. Kapanen is already better than most of the second line centeres in the east and hes a rookie! Plus we have Hage coming. We have tonnes of depth at Center. Its gonna cost too much get a another elite 2C and we dont it right now.
Agree with Marco. Goaltending is gonna solve itself from within.

It would be a huge gamble but imagine Galagher plus Laine to Vancouver for Pettersson. Pending all contractual roadblocks and maybe a little salary retention for year 3 onward from Van, would Elias on 2nd line with Demi and Slav work?

Guhle would bring serious stuff back, and yeah, our left side D is stacked.
How about Bobby McMann from Toronto? Big, fast and decent hands. Might be a really good compliment in our top six.

That’s a summer trade, thats a trade for the preseason, that’s pre American Thanksging trade, that’s a Christmas freeze trade, that’s more of a trade before the Olympics break, that’s a deadline trade, next thing you know we’ve come full circle and …no trade.
As long as Texier is on your top line the team will remain competitive but not a contender.
