McMann is good but $4 X 4 is too risky
On a team that has next to zero defence prospects…Why would it make any sense to move Akey, when he’s beginning to take off? If there’s an extension sure.
Anybody saying that McMann is soft is incredibly stupid.

Hope Stauffer wasn't one of the insider's with knowledge of Frederic last year. GM Bowman needs to be told (ordered), that getting any player now or by the TDL that will be a UFA on July 1st … is a Rental Only! Because he owns the worst trade and contract offer/signing of the '25/'26 season with Frederic.
I thought these guys said Oilers should be done with going after these mid tier talent (3-4 million dollar guys). Since they got burned so many times (Henrique, Arvidsson, Skinner, Mangiapane)
If I’m oilers you try to get Mcmann for (2) 2nd round picks, and decent prospect do it, if a 1st is needed maybe but maybe try the latter because if you could offer a 1st to the Jets with another asset to get Logan Stanley? That is what they should be doing to gear up for the playoffs and extending both of them in the offseason.
They need to get a strong top 9 player who can score, has speed to his game and someone who can back check i think this would be a good trade if he is willing to resign with us even if they dont mix up the top two lines he would look great with ros and matt and for the fuy saying thwy dont play their 3rd line most teams only play their bottom two line 9 to 13 mins a game all depends how they are producing, if they can bring energy to the game but yes make the trade
