  1. This is what we've known for a while now, not trading for rentals, or depth pieces.
He's waiting for the opportunity to pluck a mid 20's high end talent.
    Think Robert Thomas.
But really we know gms are always talking, always kicking tires.
There is a lot of players that fit this profile ranging in aquisition cost and upside.
I get why there has been rumors around Pettersson, lafreniere, talent that could use a change of scenery.
There's some D options, as this video mentions.
Pretty sure there is atleast a dozen potential fits Yzerman is making calls on, its all just a matter of cost and if the other team plays ball.
JROB is my pie in the sky hope, followed by the previously mentioned Robert Thomas.
I'll be surprised if Detroit doesn't do something substantial before March 6th

  2. As a ducks fan. I hope minty leaves for bricks atp. Terrible defensively, obviously nothing on offense. Cries when he gets scratched after HIS terrible play. Literal diva. Stian solberg looks more promising anyways

  3. I like how you say up and down nature while they’re on a 5 game winning streak after their first and only bad stretch this season💔. These casuals man

  4. Right now it looks like the Red Wings have a chance of becoming a playoff team so yzerman isn't really pressured to do anything crazy. I still think Bowen Byram would be the perfect fit alongside ASP. I would love to see a trade deal with an extension next year.

  5. I think that statement was more about last year. He had players with term that could have helped and he did nothing.

  6. You don't make moves just to make a move. Wings have never done that. And as long as those moves don't include kaspar the 👻

  7. No no no no no unless it’s for a bag of pucks! Need a bigger presence and a proven defenseman. Sign him in off season. Get Thomas ,Werenski or Byram.
