  1. Had mine drained like 11 times. It builds up and gets thicker everytime. Yes it's somewhat avoidable, but also depends on the type of wrestler you are, how much you wrestle and how you train.

  2. Avoidable, but if you actually wrestle full-time year-round for eight years straight at a high-level in tournaments where headgear isn’t required and actually people can tell you to take it off. It gets harder and harder for the drained years not calcify same thing that happened with me, baby cauliflower turned intoSeve re-cauliflower from bursting over and over again.

  3. they aren't wearing it as a badge of honor. they have it cause they don't have insurance and have to pay for a dr out of pocket. also it fills up again and you need to always go back to get it drained. they get tired of it

  4. That’s why you have to drain the haematoma. It’s entirely treatable, you just have to do it soon after injury.

  5. I dont get why some people like it, you’re just telling people you got whalloped in the earlobe

  6. People who have it want it in my opinion. They like for people to see their messed up ears and think "oh that guys hard core"

  7. Not trying to mean but why does it seem like most white fighters are likely to have cauliflower ears than black fighters

  8. I'm a greko-roman professional wrestler for 15 years and my ears was always healthy 'cause I was always giving a lotta time and training the way I'm gonna fall down and group mself the right way

  9. These are the only kinds of topics Joe Rogan is qualified to talk about. Everything else he discusses on his show, he's basically ignorant.

  10. I personally think it's disgusting. Imo a fighter should drain it asap. Fighters are supposed to look there best. I'd feel suicidal if I had intensive cauliflower ear. I respect people who do

  11. Joe Rogan is a certified yapper. Just willy-nilly talks anecdotal bro science about things he shouldn’t. Let’s look at this one case objectively.

I don’t even know if it’s true that it can calcify but a simple outpatient procedure could very easily create an incision and remove the buildup.

  12. I got my ear smacked black as a 5 yr old and a petrified blood rock the size of a 3 nut peanut 🥜 came out 3 years later when I was 8
