I dont think they are making ANY moves…they won't make a BIG MOVE..they dont want to fool around with the lines..the team chemistry…I believe..at least for this season..THIS IS THE TEAM
For me it’s Robert Thomas he’s 26 & is on the books at 8.125M AAV for the next 5 years & STL is reportedly shopping him
He immediately slides in as your 2C & allow Malkin to play the wing for the rest of his career
2026 1RP
2027 2RP
2028 2RP
Pickering
McGroarty
If they turn that down somebody else came in with an even bigger deal
I'm thinking that, if Dubas makes a big move, it'll be before the Olympic break. Why? To get them in Pittsburgh, over the break. Allow time to get acclimated and adjust to the city.
Another possibility is a three team trade moving Arturs Silovs to someone like Montreal or Ottawa, who are struggling in net, but seem to be a goaltender away from a playoff run.
