Dude broke a whole bunch of leaf records for scoring in both the regular season and playoffs. The people saying he didn't show up for games obviously never watched any leaf games. I think it's a little unfair to say Marner "took the team for every dollar he could" when the 3 others of the "core 4" made more money and delivered SIGNIFICANTLY less than Marner. Marner isn't the villain here, Toronto is. They ran him out of town. I'm usually with you on your takes, but I think this one misses the mark.

The Knights played for Mitch. They got the win, for Mitch, they played as a team, and nobody wanted to letdown Mitch. If I'm Keith pelley I'm telling treliving to leave the building and never come back. Trade away all the top pieces you have, no reason to keep nylander or Matthews you're not a contender you're just wasting their careers and keeping them off other rosters. Reilly should've been moved and if he doesn't waive his nmc this summer buy him out. The team is never ready for games, top guys never show up when it matters scrap the whole thing. Tank like hell to save your first round pick as well bc God they need it.
