Schneider’s not having his best year, but a major reason why is playing on the top blue line w/Gavrikov. When Adam Fox returns, then he can go back to a 2nd line role where he’s better suited. Keep the guy!

why are you comparing the Brock Nelson trade return with Panerin? Unlike Panerin, he did NOT have a full NTC. The Rangers would be lucky to get anything remotely comparable…and even if they did, they would not know what to do with players with potential. Until Drury is gone, Rangers will be unwatchable.

Schneids has been one of the Rangers best D-men on the team. He hits, he blocks shots, he sticks up for his teammates he’s young and we know what we’ve got with him.
Don’t trade away our future (Schneids, Laba, Gabe, Otter, Bernard, etc. for guys that no one on our scouting staff knows. We’ve got some good up and comers, let’s build (oops, sorry…..RE-TOOL) a team around them.
Along with those mentioned above we need to keep Mika, Igor (obviously, though I wish it weren’t!), Fox, Gavi, Carrick, Cuylle & Robertson.
Give the young guys a chance to show what they can do NOW which make them more effective next year.
The whole league can see what a dysfunctional team the Rangers are. No one wants to come to this club. Which is hard to believe because it's a original six club on Broadway. But this is what Dolan and Drury have done to this team.
