darche striking early. i guess darche is going for playoffs with these moves maybe trying to put together a tb reunion club. could stamkos be next? even tho isles should be going young not adding 31, 34 year old vets. giving up a third was high for soucy but getting two picks including that third back and having nj who was desperate to get rid of palat's deal take 7 back evens the deals out. probably means darche is looking to re-sign 27, 44 instead of getting much needed picks, youth for them. and another move would be to get that proven scorer. get trotz to eat part of stamkos's deal to add someone who can score on pp to isles next. NO to panarin who is invisible and too soft in playoffs and is probably headed to wings to play with kane again. could palat get that no. 18 of mr. useless for remainder of season?

With Palats PK skill and the islanders shoring up the back end I wonder if they are going to try to make a big splash with JGP the Col 1st and someone like Eiserman.

Come on Gil! Isles are definitely in the top ten defensive teams in the league and not that far from the top ten overall, or at last the jury is out on that especially given the loss of some of their key players this year, including Horvat for an extended period in the last couple months!
