The Anaheim Ducks may have cracked the code for instant chemistry, as Mikael Granlund and Beckett Sennecke unlocked elite synergy after an accidental on-ice collision — leading to back-to-back hat tricks. Granlund, Alex Killorn, Cutter Gauthier, Ryan Poehling, and Chris Kreider powered a dominant Ducks win over the Calgary Flames, capped by Sennecke’s first career NHL hat trick in overtime to extend the Ducks’ winning streak to seven games. That streak snapped against the Edmonton Oilers despite a three–power-play-goal night from Granlund and stretches where Anaheim looked like the better team, with goaltending ultimately making the difference between Ville Husso and Lukáš Dostál. The video breaks down key moments, controversial goals, power-play success, and why injuries may have accidentally unlocked something real for this Ducks lineup. Plus, thoughts on Pat Verbeek’s broadcast appearance, lineup chemistry, and what’s next as the Ducks take on the Vancouver Canucks. #nhl #anaheimducks #calgaryflames #edmontonoilers #hockey

What's crazy is some people were calling for Sennecke to get the Carlsson treatment or to stay down for another year until he's 'ready'… turns out he's the best player on this entire roster 🤣
Frank has been lying to us and himself for yeeeeeeears
Thanks as always for the game recaps, greatly appreciated!
We would have won against Edmonton if it wasn't for 5 minutes of picking dandelions. We stood tall overall against the Oils though, minus 3 of our main players, 4 if you include the Wall. Finish the games to the Olympic break strong.
The real sad part of this winning streak coming to an end is that guy on the Ducks subreddit who was undefeated since getting a Leo jersey in the mail
You can't blame GMPV for keeping his cards close to his chest on live television. I think he was intentionally not giving away too much information when asked about the trade deadline. Although his answer regarding the impending RFAs I think he was being completely transparent. It's smart that he wants his guys to focus on the season and potentially pushing for the playoffs without worrying about the business aspect.
Bucket was one of the shrewdest draft picks in recent memory.
Going way off the board and hitting a fucking grand slam like that?
I think the last time this happened was Detroit with Seider
Miss Duck, you'd have thought me crazy if 12 months ago I'd have said to you that you'd be disappointed in losing to McDavids Oilers! What a ride this season is turning out & how well the blend of youth, rookie & veterans has been, like a delicious cocktail. Here's to the remaining games, Cheers!
I always come on here harping on how the Ducks need to drop the penalties but against McDavid and their killer PP, it’s a must. But damn proud of the boys for that 7 game heater.
Would say it's been clear for some time "we" ( the Ducks ) may still be a "bit off" to really be top contender for the cup. 😣
Bucket finally had a positive +/- before going -4 in the Oilers game. Part of the reason it's such a useless stat is because he got a – for both of the EN goals.
Strome gonna have to get traded or put to waivers then ahl when everyone comes back. Good dude, but Ross playin or scracthed here n there, Neis and Colangelo can't get a sniff, Phoeling lookin great and seems to have another level potential, Harkins or Strome kinda the toss up. Hark cheaper, great energy, and frankly bout the same Offense potential.
I don't mind the loss. I feel for Husso having to face the Seige warfare by Edmonton. All I'm upset is that the worst player in the league scored unassisted. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Had a good streak going but all good things come to an end and at least it was to a top team and not bottom of the bucket team. Let's pick it back up Ducks and keep the fire burning. LETS GOOOO DUCKS!!!!
Basically a scheduled loss, EDM playing 3rd team in a row on second night of back to back, great scheduling. Thanks for the video !
Always happy to beat the Chat GPT coached team.
Sure the win streak is over but we just resurfaced in my opinion into a contender for the division we are only 3-4 points out from getting into 1st place 🥇 and with the way that we have played we are making the Stanley Cup Playoffs!(hopefully) but LETS GOOOOOO DUCKSSSS
Calle Clang 2025-26 AHL San Diego Gulls. GP-16 GAA-2.22 SV%-.912 SO-2 W.L.T. 9-3-4. Anyone know the plan for him?
I'm no nhl coach but pulling a goalie when your team doesnt have full control vs mcdavid seems unwise.. aat least wait till the last minute if you need to do it.
Let's go ducks Quack Quack
Sennecke is that guy, pal
4:30 YES! Nobody has any of the clips this year from Lacombe hitting. He has a whole highlight reel this season and I haven't seen anything on YouTube. He's definitely starting to get more physical and I think he should continue to play that way.
Uhm who saw the chemistry with Sennecke, Killorn & Granlund coming 🔥 not me lol
