There is reporting the Boston Bruins have offered up a package, and I break it down because my sources tell me the Bruins might not have a chance.

Flame fan here & Ras is perfect for the Bruin personality. His patented stare downs after a goal with opposing fans in first row is priceless. He was good friends with Zad & Elias, I could easily see him extending. Should be a no brainer, Conroy knows how much he's wanting & all it takes is a question to his agent or him if he will extend. Offer is a reasonable one.

Sounds like a Sweeney and Neeley trade. Give away your upcoming prospects and get shit in return. Jacob’s is a damn fool. Three years of the dumbest trades. They’re tanking the whole team for a first round pick that they will deal away in two or three years.

I mean…not sure why this is a thing. I guess it's content, but for the VERY obvious reasons mentioned here…there is no way we are in the rental game. If we are doing something like this, Sweeney will have ruined any new found fan confidence he might of gained with last year's excellent moves.
No trade at all without an extension and even if he did agree to extend in Boston, the Bruins can't be trading any top picks unless for a 22 or under top 6 F or top 4 D. For Andersson I would give Lohrei even though don't want to, but I would deal Lohrei and give them 2 of any prospects in AHL even Poitras and Lysell, but no first round picks should be dealt by this team.
I think he would be a very good pickup for the Bruins but Only for the right price ! I would give them their choice of our extra first rounders IF they took two of our "Problem Players'' in the deal such as Middlestat and Korpy off our hands and our Salary Cap. Then we could have the money to resign him. And just give them Lohrei because even if he's getting better defensively ,he Stunk before (Big Deal) and his offence has almost disappeared. And talk salary and term with"Mrrr. Anderson…" 😉 and if he comes for 3-4 yrs ,do it ! Who knows he may like being a Bruin 🐻 👍👍 and re- sign later. I really believe we mismanaged Poitras. I believed he was getting more ice time this season and just before puck drop we moved him down.

Sweeney knows what's best for the bruins but since his draft scouts are amongst the worst in the NHL, I do not mind him trading any draft picks. But only for young guns!

Much rather them keep their 1st round picks this year. If they were a cup contender this trade would make sense. From what I'm hearing this draft is supposed to be pretty good for defensemen, maybe we can land a good future defensemen depending on where we land on the draft board
