been mentioning since the summer. the reason i think they lost in the playoffs is because they lack the killer instinct.
some believe it is the mentality of the team.
i believe it's because they lack a pure goal scorer. they have great pieces but not that guy who will score under any kind of pressure.
regardless of how anyone wants to debate it, they didn't fix it over the summer.
right now, when the Kings get the opportunity, they don't put that proverbial dagger into teams.
this is why they are ending up playing so many overtime games.
there's differences of opinions on what it's going to take to fix it. coaching. adding a player. changing the strategy.
whatever it's gonna take, it's gotta happen soon.
Clarke should be playing #1 minutes. DD should be playing a shutdown role on the 2nd pairing.

Yes they won , however 3 unanswered goals . And I’m like rain man , I can kinda tell you the score of game 10-20 back . And I can tell you just like somehow the kings always loose to the capitals sabres and lightning, the blues always find a way to loose to us . Still no killer instinct! I wanna see what happens when they face the 99.99% garenteed loss to the sabres coming up ! I’d love it if someone told them some fans who know are sick and tired of loosing to the sabres !
I’m actually more sick of them giving up a timing goal on the 6-5 with a looming empty net ! I mean there has 3 or 4 this month alone ! It’s pathetic !

I agree with ya, Eddie. Nice to get 2 points, but definitely a "C" performance. At this point, the Kings are going to lose any tie breaker because of their horrific "ROW" (Regulation/Overtime Wins). So the Kings need to get at least 7-8 points on this 6 game road trip. Hiller continues to drive me nuts…and I'm shocked that Doughty was given a spot on the Canadian National Team (over a guy like Evan Bouchard).
If you're sick of watching the Kings lose, their minor league team is doing great and has had winning streaks all season. The Ontario Reign have been doing absolutely excellent this season. It'll take your mind off how disappointing the Kings have been this year. At least it is for me. It's relieving to have another home team to cheer for.
