Hell yeah! Evgeny can provide a massive boost to our bottom 6 lineup just like he's doing rn in Winnipeg. Shore or Scevs for Svechnikov would be a great deal, considering the coaching change and possible chemistry between Evgeny and Benson or others. (idk how I went from a vintage Fuhr photo to a young Koski pfp 😂😂😂)
Svechnikov played a good game when we lost to Winnipeg recently. His name was mentioned often from the commentators so we know he has no problem playing the puck, checking and aggressively seeking the puck along the boards. I think this would be a good trade. I'd prefer the trade straight across since Perlini is down playing for the Condor's these days and has only had moderate success with Oilers so far this year.
Love the idea though im not sure Winnepeg would trade him for Perlini…and a pick….I wouldn't…but sounds good if Winnepeg is looking to get rid of him…sounds good to meme…
We have to many of these “could be good” watched him in the Arizona vs Winnipeg game here in AZ. Big guy who plays soft, talking with Winnipeg people he’s done little and will be moved. Holland needs to strike gold as we have enough coal, stop trading these like for like pieces!
I think it could go either way with Holland, very true he knows the player well, does he still see talent there or does he see him as the big bust he has been. Didn't the Oilers also have interest in Copp
I dont know why Perlini hasn't got more of a chance with the Oilers. I think he's played well for getting next to no minutes…Honestly, he could be a 15-20 goal guy if given the opportunity.

He does add size which is nice and with it possibly being a cap hit wash for Perlini, why not try to aquire him.
That's not a bad player at all for that price. I'd do that deal in a second. The question is – would the Jets do it?
