I do get it but at the same it sucks getting rid of someone who can score on a team where offense is already non existent

Why is Landon Slaggert still in the lineup is beyond me. I see so much more upside in Lardis than Slaggert.
I don’t buy the Burakovsky rhetoric. He doesn’t look hungry at all to me, this all feels a little too PC to me. I’d cut my losses with him, move him out and elevate Lardis or a Rockford hammer, this team needs more toughness
Rockford is the 5th worst team in the AHL. Send him there to learn how to lose, or fire the coach.
This is not a playoff team. I think they should also send Slaggert to Rockford and have him play heavy minutes. Lafferty is more than capable of playing fourth line minutes for this team. After the trade deadline then things may change.

Would you want a captain that rarely engages physically? I wouldn’t. Vlasic gets outmuscled routinely by smaller more aggressive players. He’s 6’6” 220 and averages less than one hit per game for his career. That’s an embarrassing stat especially on a team that the coach wants to play like the Panthers. I’m not saying Vlasic isn’t a good player I think he is but captain material? No thanks.
Sending Lardis down makes absolutely no sense to me especially with our power play struggling. He was looking great for the short time he was here and him and Moore had a lot of chemistry.
