  1. I think he scored 2 goal in rookie camp this year in tech center….. hope we see him next yr with da sharks !!

  2. He also added 2 goals in the spangler cup a few weeks ago with an collegiate all star team against professionals in Europe many ex nhlers he was one of the best players if flat out the best in each game he was in…go watch the games on youtube…also in last years ncaa tournament pohlkamp not buim was their best and most physical dman

  3. Pohlkamp went to the Spengler Cup. On a PP, he lined up in the Ovie spot for one-timer. The shot was clocked at 102mph …

  4. Us Sharks fans have been tracking Pohlkamp since he was with Bemidji State. Will be a huge addition at the end of the season but expect he will start next season with the Cuda (Sharks AHL affiliate).

Skinner, along with most the defense and more forwards may be moved as they have more roster players than roster spots when fully healthy. Most likely Regenda, Skinner, Dellandrea (when healthy), Gaudette and Kurashev would head my list.

  5. I live in Denver and have had the privilege of watching this kid a couple of times. First off, the kid may be on the shorter side, but he's built like a fcking NFL linebacker. Super broad shoulders and listed at 212 lbs at only 5'10 1/2. He has a ridiculous shot and has a knack for the net but also plays a very safe and physical game in his own zone. The one thing I will say however, is that his transition game, while decent at the NCAA level, is far from nhl caliber. His breakout passes are inconsistent (shown by the lack of assists), and he isn't very fast and not the greatest puck handler. He's not terrible at any of these things, but none are strengths of his. Think of him as someone who thrives in both the offensive/defensive zone and is great on both sides of special teams, but (edit: NOT) really someone who is going to get you from the defensive zone to the offensive zone. Paired with a good transition defenseman he could be a top 4 guy. Maybe Sam Dickenson in a few years?
