“I don’t think we had a lot of purpose to our game tonight”

  1. Huska's such a nice coach.. always so nice when he tells us how the team loses.

But he is right – the forwards are just not playing hockey. Backs and Sharky have been playing good recently though – seems like they were trying to get to the middle. But the breakouts are slow, no one is skating and they are standing around trying to pass it through to make an entry. When they're standing around, you cant even dump an chase, because no one has momentum to hunt the puck.
It's frustrating to watch them all try to make plays from the outside on the high-boards and then turn it over… playing safe and scared.
Doesnt help that Wolf was deep in the net for 2 of the goals. Put Cooley in next game. Wolf is too small to be playing that deep and not being square to the puck.

  2. Give Kerins an actual chance. He's a flames player through and through and actually has drive. Move on from Huska, and give a coach a chance you tries to plays to players potential ceilings and not just their defensive capabilities. Goals puts fans in seats and in the end this is sports entertainment for how much it costs.
