It was an early defecit early, looking as if the Detroit Red Wings were on pace for another frustrating loss where they outchanced the opponent, but gave up too many of their own. But thankfully the offensive dam burst in the second period and Detroit cruised to a 6-3 victory. Lucas Raymond scored twice, including his 100th career goal, and Emmitt Finnie picked up his 1st NHL point on the first goal. Patrick Kane and DeBrincat had a lot of magic in them, both posting 3 point nights. And both ASP and MBN had strong outings as well. #LGRW

Itβs very good to play most of the top teams right away , if I was the coach all I would say and drill into their heads is keep your legs moving Detroit has a young team and they use that to their advantage keep flying around
Canβt you drop it at like 10 pm or something
I'm taking a drink every time they say we're back
I took wings ML tomorrow
Pretty sure Iβm wearing the same hat rn
P.S. still waiting for locked on parrots π
Dude line 2! Also really like Copp Compher and MBN together! Then we have larks and luca on line 1… I'm hopeful but after the opener I was like damn, let's just tank and go for McKenna… hahaha then Ras the moose and Bloom the Tree on 4..! Woop so fun love it!
That 3rd goal was in part on Seider unfortunately. He ran into his own guy, bunched up in front of Talbot. That was a mess defensively.
Kasper is the perfect center for Kane and DeBrincat.

Johansson and JBD were amazing as D3!
Johansson -3 with Hamonic, and +4 with JBD.
Now please find someone to pair with Seider, because Chiarot once again was just awful.
Oh, and congrats for appearing on the Wings official YT-channel!
Seider and Chiarot were nice to watch, but enough is enough.
At least give AlJo a chance to prove himself with Seider. If that doesn't work out, Ed and Mo, ASP and AlJo. In my opinion, we've found our top 4.
JBD looked solid enough to form the third pair with Chiarot. They're not playing against the most skilled players anyway.
I still think Seider is the most important Red Wing, but he plays too passively and defensively at times. Why?
He doesn't bully players anymore, which is a shame to see.
ASP and Ed, defensively still weak at times, but when they get the puck, wow. Great pairing.
The team will grow over the season and after 20-25 games will either be an absolute machine or a lottery ticket. I don't think Detroit will lose primarily.
Comments about 2 games from this fan base, absolute roller coaster.
welp actually it was his 99th & 100th goal of his redwing career! π€·ββοΈππͺππͺ
Is Scotty in his bathrobe? Heβs clearly taking that Tigers loss badly.
Hahahaha , the Wings are in their perennial comfort zone. Playing .500 hockey , . . . . Yippie !!!
Wings are not a defensive team. At all. That said, I think they'll lose more than they'll win. Time will tell.
I'm concerned about Seider! He has to improve his skating, and he just isn't physical enough. If they get blown out today in Toronto, it won't surprise me.
we ball baby!
WE BALLLLLLL!!! #LGRW
Can we trade bergers, and travis hamonic for solid dman? Lol that would help
With the kids coming up and playing well, Ras is sticking out more and more.. and not in a good way.
Didn't I say they may average 5G a game? Even if they lost I was happy with the effort.Getting through the first 10 min of the game seems to be there thing.π€π€
Does anyone here want to admit copp compher and mbn look really good.
After Toronto's 2nd goal it looks they got mad instead of sulking. A bit of hate in hockey can go a long way.
Never in the history of sma ll sample sizes as so much been made of small sample sizes.
