This Devils team has a serious leadership problem. Fitzgerald needs to be fired. His moves have failed and the culture is broken. Markstrom was a bad deal. First round pick wasted. Cap space burned. No real solution. Both Hughes brothers are not good deals right now. Jack is talented but inconsistent and hurt too often. Luke is not NHL ready defensively and paying him elite money is insane. He should be benched and developed properly, even in the AHL if needed. Keefe is way too soft. This team needs an ass kicker, not a buddy. Play well and you get rewarded. Play bad or be a bad teammate and you sit. The only guy who shows up every night and earns his role is Nico Hischier. Fire Fitzgerald. Bring in a new GM. Reset the culture. Enough is enough.
