Whatever it takes to get the team to get fired up and play consistent… Go Isles!
isles slapped by suddenly good sabres 5-0. pathetic roy has to bench the whole top line with no one scoring. once again the whole offense needs to be nuked for a couple of big time scorers. too many average/complementary scorers all going cold together at the same time. and isles offense which was in top third of nhl in g's after 20 games has plummeted to 24th. sorry ass 30th ranked pp doesn't help. 29 needs to be benched as well. 3 g's, none since early nov. wtf are isles paying 29 $4 mill. per for? on the bright side isles were shut out for first time this season in game 51. last season isles were shut out 6 times at this point. better hope 30 can lead the way to playoffs cause it is gonna be tuff with pens winning to move 4 pts. up and sabres, wings on their way back to playoffs after long droughts. isles better stay ahead of caps, flyers and stay in the 2, 3 spot to make playoffs.
They earned the benching. Let's face it under Tavares & Lee being Captains, Isles never show up for early games. They brag in videos about staying up late with the boys playing cards and stuff. Most of us know who needs trading. ISLES NOT A PLAYOFF TEAM!
Well, this canoe is starting to take on water fast. With both wild card spots occupied by Atlantic division teams, along with Philly, Caps, and NJ breathing down the Isles necks a playoff appearance is in serious jeopardy
