Wishing you the best, Jason. Just got to flush it. Use it as a lesson that you need to play the full 60 minutes every game. Hopefully it makes them a better team in the long run.

Unfortunately with this team over the years I'm far from stunned. It's almost predictable at this point.
I have been working a lot with all these snows and decided to go to bed at the end of the 2nd! Ended up being a good choice! I am always amazed at the routine beer league plays pro players can't get done! The Hathaway one was awful and Keller the little runt makes Sandheim look like a giant pylon!!!😮😮
Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory as a fan. I am sick and tired of watching the same marginal hockey players try to execute down the stretch of a game never mind Hathaway with an empty net decides I’m gonna skate instead of just shoot the puck into the empty net, and watching Sanheim not take Keller into the board to rub him out which is what good defenseman should do in that situation to watching Ersson cower into the net like a turtle instead of stepping up and just poke checking the puck. It doesn’t matter how many coaching staffs this team has, how much practice they do or how much video they watch they keep rolling out the same players that cannot execute because they’re not that good and I’m sick of watching them.
And what’s the most painful to me as a fan is I actually called it midway through the third period I told my son they’re losing this game 54 in OT that’s exactly what happened. I’ve seen this movie too many times over the past several years. until the flyers understand that you cannot win in this league without at least one or two elite hockey players, they will always be where they are a marginal team with marginal players that they try to tell us are way better than they actually are. They cave because they are not good! It’s about time we acknowledge this, stop trying to make the playoffs and be more urgent about getting better players.
I’m so glad Hathaway choked that I’ve been yelling at my tv because of that motherfucker the last couple weeks. Takes the weakest penalties doesn’t fight doesn’t lay big hits and just a down right bum on offense. All leads to a pk and a goal against for absolutely no gain. Get him off the ice for the love of god.

Im not sure if this is an actual stat but the Flyers feel like the worst team at clearing the puck out of the defensive zone. So many failed clear attempts have directly lead to goals this year.

What I see from the Philadelphia Flyers year in and year out is a mediocre team. An organization that doesn’t try hard to win and doesn’t try hard enough to not lose. The organization hires the same coaches every cycle. Rick Tocchet was and is going to be a disaster hire he’s the/same thing as the last 4 coaches. Nothing new nothing fun. We have a 4th line player who won’t be in the NHL when his contract expires have more minutes than our young superstar. Rich Tocchet is not the answer, he’s a dinosaur from the past whose not done anything to command a head coaching job. Then you have going to any game, the prices for food, drinks, parking, admission do not warrant anyone go and watch this team “play” hockey. Any family going or two friends going to watch a maybe .500 team would cost anywhere from $300-$500.This team and organization are drifting out at sea with zero plan and zero communication with the fans. This organization is going to be in real trouble soon when the loyal fans have had enough or die off. You’ve missed out on younger generations of fans to replace them. The organization is unrecognizable at this point and I don’t know if you’ll be able to pull up out of this death spiral. But last nights game truly showed me what this team is, a middle of the pack team with a below average coaches. Just makes me sick.

Yea that game was an overall unacceptable performance. From collapsing after the hit on Tippett to the Patrick Stefan 2.0. BUT the tk – dvo – Zegras line looked good. The PP looked decent. Michkov had a couple plays that reminded me of him last year. There are some positive takeaways, but should’ve been a W for sure
Is this a result of over reliance on specific line chemistry and line to line matchups? After that Tippet hit, they lost all momentum
Anyone else tired of being cheap shotted and Hathaway shoot it dont try and slam dunk it it caused us the game

Flyers are the most inconsistent team in NHL history. Get some elite talent already or stay the Cleveland Browns of the NHL.
This skid the team is on isn't the result of puck luck of the hockey gods. The Flyers played a half a season of good hockey and paid attention to detail. Now the mental mistakes are simply overwhelming. You don't all of a sudden in two weeks become a bad team but the mental errors breaking down the structure must stop

For the love of god fkn drop Hathaway. Ive been sayin it since game 1 this year. He is Not good, he is taking a spot from younger better players that we need developing in the nhl. He HAS TO GO. Immediately.
After that missed empty netter, I had my hands on my head in frustration and disgust, all the way to the point Keller scored, and then I just lost it and had to refrain from yelling at my TV lol
Hathaway has been absolutely horrendous this season. But after that empty net fail he should never see the ice the rest of the season.

I wonder what happens when all the players want to come here (per Briere and Jones) LOL Briere has shown zero ability to make a trade to address obvious needs…PP QB…..A top pair D man ( Byram could of done both ) Briere had interest and was worried about paying him his next contract. Why with cap going way up makes zero sense. Address the Center position stop ignoring it !!!!!!! The GM needs to address this mess enough already.
Id say theres a bit of an over reaction to this game. Other teams will experience this if not have already this season. Cant dwell on it, its 1 game of 82. I stick by my comment about expectations 2 episodes ago about and have my feet up. Positive note is Mich looked good 😊

This is why you have to tear it down to the studs and more importantly identify a new captain and leadership. This has been going on since AV was the coach. This team is not good enough skill-wise and not strong enough mentally to win games, let alone against the upper echelon of teams. I’m glad they lost because ultimately it is for the best.
