My favorite Leaf. Plays with heart, piss and vinegar. I wish Berube would play him more. This guy deserves to be playing way more than 10 minutes a game.

Not only does Scott deserve more time on the ice, he honestly deserves an 'A' on his jersey.
Solid effort from him, as per usual.
Wish more of them bothered to show up to these big games like he does.

The first Vegas goal, never mind any of the other 5, was a disgrace in terms of inexcusably inept D-zone coverage. McCabe leaving the net front to attack a guy OEL is already on top of, while Matthews is oblivious to Eichel, arguably the most dangerous threat standing beside the Leaf net, all alone for an easy backdoor tap in. That goal just can't happen like that in a critical game. They were back to their earlier Oct, Nov & early Dec pattern of turning the puck over in all zones, causing odd man rushes against. The 5th goal was McCabe taking a foolish shot deep in the O-zone where, if you miss the net, (more likely than not) with 3 of your guys down low you're almost guaranteeing a 2 on 1 against. Killer goal off a stupid decision to shoot from that poor angle. I really like McCabe, but he's been off his game for about 5 or 6 games in a row.
