    Stearns is an absolute failure he couldn’t afford to let Tucker walk and of all teams to go to the Dodgers this is a %100 failure a humiliation

    The Dodgers have signed Kyle Tucker to a 4-year contract worth $240 million ($60 million AAV a year), including an opt-out after the 2027 season. Perhaps the Mets may go to plan B and sign Cody Bellinger and Marcell Ozuna.

    Wow, this ages poorly fast. Sounds like this was a Cohen panic thing anyway. Analytics boy just wants more stopgap journeymen he can trade at the deadline. Why pay to watch Alonso and Diaz, it's more exciting to watch Stearns show us what a chessmaster he is. Maybe our day will come…eventually. Really, could happen.

    Stearns the Weasel knew Tucker and his agent would never accept the Mets backhanded offer.This was a ruse to push up the bidding and a desperate ploy to deflect fans vehement ridicule for botching the Diaz deal and dumping Alonso. They were never and will not sign any big ticket players. The only secret plan is to keep the payroll as low as possible after giving the store away to Soto.

    Funny that none of you even mentioned the Dodgers. Kyle is already in the city of Angels rubbing the trophy. Mets are straight dumpster juice.

    Sorry to disappoint. He signed with the Dodgers and winning a World Series this year.
