If that 3rd bullet is true and Dolan did not fire Drury then I don't even know what to say. From what I always read, it was Zibanderjad who the Sabers wanted.

I believe that Glenn sather then the president of the NYR's in 2017 wanted a make work project and he forced the Anderson draft pick. Say what u want, it was a no win work project. Today look at how well Gorton has done in Montreal. The 2025- 26 NYR's RIP.

This bullshit about Drury is going to change the "Culture" is laughable!! This Shit Show we've been watching is 100% all Drury's!! We can already see what the Drury culture is and it SUCKS!!
Drury gets a lot of hate but also got rid of bad contracts like goodrow, truba and got rid of players like chytil, lingren, who are beat up. Krieder is also on the decline. Also he was able to lock Fox and Shesty Gav, Borgen & Laf . Laf can still peek after 26, so unless you get a good return, you gotta stick w him. This is Drurys last chance i imagine but if he moves panarin, he has to do a lot more to change the identity of this team
