I'd still take your goalie of Sam Ersson. Ersson is AWEFUL
Here is an idea for Bednar. I noticed this last year too. That might be why the PP is struggling. Every team knows that MacKinnon, Makar and Necas is on PP1. So the opponent sends out their best penalty killer for the Avs top line. What would happen if Bednar starts a different group of players for PP1, than put MacKinnon, Makar and Necas on PP2. That might work temporarily. I really can't see MacKinnon having a problem with it. It could throw a wrench in the opponent thinking, which is always a good thing.
I didn’t get a chance to watch the game but you guys are being super ridiculously hard on a goalie who has been part of one of the best tandems in the league this year.

Also, the power play needs to get fixed. And you have to get better at finishing.
