This why Evgeni Malkin is one of my favorite Penguins of all time. Yeah, he isn't perfect but he's got heart and he has a fire to win and compete. If he wishes to give it another year, in my view, he has earned that opportunity. MAN are we lucky, as Penguins fans, to witness some of the stuff we get to witness. We have ourselves a hockey team in Pittsburgh folks!

How he talks about transitioning between positions and how positioning functions differently in different line combos just reflects how imo he's one of the smartest players in the game! "give me time I play any position I think" absolutely would love to see you as a dman with that reach, bud! 😂Last few games he's been all over the ice and looks like he's having fun out there, hope that energy stays and those legs stay strong! Emotionally, my favourite Penguin is Geno and it's just not close. Just an incredible hockey player who will probably never get the respect his talents and performance demands. He's all heart and he just wants to hockey for the Penguins. When he's interviewed too, he always comes across as incredibly down to earth and genuine, not looking to dance around questions. We want you back, Geno ❤
