  1. I'm a Wild fan and…no. I would still take Makar and Toews until proven otherwise. I'll happily take younger and 2nd place though!

  2. When Hughes was in Vancouver, I stay up for games but sometimes it’s hard to appreciate players talents out on the west coast due to the late games. Originally, when the trade was made, I was like the Wild gave up way too much, until I watch him play live. I can’t believe his edges – better than 97’s. Wait until the puck actually starts going in, he has had so many point blank looks / shots. As for Faber – while Fiala is a great player, Guerin did a masterpiece trade getting this kid for a decade. The Wild need to sign Hughes and are becoming a powerhouse going forward.

  3. You do good you get more ice time, hopefully they know their bodies and are communicating how much would be too much.

  4. This Wild D-Core might be one of the best in a while with Spurgeon, Brodin, BOGO and Middleton as well. Not to mention I would willingly say that Faber, with the uptick of his offensive play since the arrival of Hughes, could quite genuinely be a top 10 defenseman in the NHL as of right now.
