Recap: San Diego Gulls vs Tucson Roadrunners, 1.21.26



The San Diego Gulls jumped out to a fast start and skated to a 5–3 win over the Tucson Roadrunners on Wednesday night at Tucson Convention Center Arena. Justin Bailey opened the scoring just 1:43 into the game, followed by goals from Cal Burke and Jan Myšák as the Gulls took a 3–1 lead after the first period.

Tucson answered with two second-period goals to tie the game, but Myšák struck again at 10:12 of the third period to give San Diego the lead for good. Nikita Nesterenko added an insurance goal two minutes later to seal the win.

San Diego outshot Tucson 39–30, and Calle Clang earned the victory in net. Myšák led the way with two goals and was named the game’s first star.
