20 shot attempts is almost as many as entire teams get in a game ð
Necas and MacKinnon are insane together.
Mack is the best player in hockey right now and it aint close. He has the most even strength points the most goals the least amount of goals scored against his line when hes playing with Necas. Not to mention 4% better faceoff percentage compared to mcdavid, 16 points less on the pp and 4 more game winning goals. Oh and lets not forget Mack and Macdavid are tied for points but mcdavid has 3 games on Mack. Hes going for the tri sweep in awards ð
last year the dog was laying back a bit enjoying his paycheck but this year the dog got hungry for another cup again ðĶī
People need to remember MacKinnon is nearly a +50 plus minus rating, tops in the NHL by far, McDavid in comparison is just +8.
Angry Nate is scary Nate. Someone needs to eat a candy bar in front of him before every game
Who let the Nate out? He is SO humble!
The thing that makes McKinnon truly 'different' is that when he won a Cup in 2022 he was satisfied…for I'm guessing about two weeks. And he hasn't been satisfied since. Honestly, I think in today's game McDavid is the higher skilled player, Celebrini may very well be the next truly generational player, etc. but Nate just has that absolute 'hates to lose' quality.
This is regular season MacKinnon too, he turns it up in the postseason.
the fastest and most electric version of nate? no. best? probably!
He's also finished 2nd for MVP twice
MacKinnon/Necas is like Lemieux/Jagr
Biz at the end barking and saying jobs not done is the perfect description of Nate in interviews haha
Nate is the lowest IQ hockey to have superstar around his name, ever. His turnovers in this eve's game against the Ducks this eve, especially in the OT, were horrendous. Horrendous. Bednar thought he would outsmart the fates and not start dawg in the OT. It not only did not work, it double backfired in spectacular fashion.
