  1. @N1k1mon What? Willard was a nobody who was almost half Johnson's age. He was tough and that was it, he was getting his ass kicked for the first 10 or so rounds but an old Johnson slowed down and was knocked out. Willard was a bum. Dempsey proved that.

  2. jonsohn was a cowardly fighter he fought in the opponent's error.
fought opponents of stature, Willard was his only opponent was tall.
you forgot that Johnson was knocked out in three rounds to a fighter old.
this old man who beat Johnson after Johnson became coach.
lutadoe one who loses to an old man who was of short stature can not be a top considerrado of all time.
rocky fought against old, but won.

  3. Jack Johnson; a trailblazer for the civil rights movement, all time great heavyweight champion and pioneer of trolling

  4. JJ very impressive in his battle for civil liberties. However, when it came to boxing. He was highly overrated. After winning the Hwt championship he never gave another Black fighter a title shot. No doubt because he lost to many of them. Second after winning the title, he defended it against mostly smaller, much smaller men. Today they would be Middleweights and Lt Heavies. His lack of skills showed up when he fought a man who was 4 years younger, and boxed as a hobby, Jess W. His first match against a man his own size, and he got his ass kicked easily. Jess followed a great plan and with 1 well placed punch ended the fight. The Bully got Bullied.
